Anytime you need Real Estate assistance or advice, please reach out to me on my cell phone at 480-220-0875. (and I take calls from people traveling, dining...and deciphering wine lists in restaurants too!).
As an Associate Broker at Engel and Voelkers, with previous experience as a certified Luxury Agent at Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, and The Agency, I consult with clients, handling the purchase and sales of their homes, diving into the hunt for a great property with the goal of achieving positive equity at close whenever possible, enthusiastically showcase a home for sale to bring out its best features, and truly love what I get to do every day.
I moved to Engel & Voelkers to take advantage of their global reach in home and lifestyle offerings, their vision and core values that underpin the corporate culture and the Waterfront offices’ daily routine, the experience and professionalism of their management and advisors, and E&V’s established global marketing and support tools.
Having grown up around the world, I arrived in the Valley from Canada 35 years ago, renovated central Phoenix properties during college, and am intimate with the best neighborhoods historically, and those on the rise. After receiving my MBA from Arizona State University, I became an e-marketing and sales executive, with stints with IBM and start-ups in San Francisco, Dallas, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Atlanta, New York, La Jolla and LA/Malibu. All those relocation home searches provided valuable experiences, both good and bad, and led to my real estate career.
I honed my luxury marketing skills, re-positioning and invigorating my gourmet food and wine shop in downtown Malibu as a side business. As a pioneer in email marketing and blogs, I delivered wine advice and sold rare wine across the country to America’s wealthiest collectors and some of the biggest names in entertainment and business. Expanding with a bar and restaurant, I was fortunate to cater to the needs of some of the world’s wealthiest business people and celebrities. Having created a shop that was a social hub for the wine community, built a wine clientele around the world, and co-founded the “Malibu Wine Classic for ChildHelp” charity, but working ridiculous hours, I decided it was time to move on from technology, food and wine, and focus on real estate- my other lifestyle passion.
I truly enjoy, and irreverently write about homes, food and wine, love architecture, grapes, cooking, good renovations, old cars and motorcycles, my family, my Bulldogs “Rugby” & "Daphne", and my circles of friends.
In my free time, I coach paddling sports on Tempe Town Lake, strum a guitar while singing offkey, visit favorite old ski haunts and complain of aches and pains, avoid anyone carrying a rugby ball or organizing a “tour”, and try to find time to travel up and down the coast or into the mountains, seeking out great food & wine, looking for water to paddle a SUP, and laughing at whatever the dogs are up to.
